Protect Your Vehicle with a Service Contract in Utah & Idaho
Don’t Let an Accident Slow You Down: How to use your Vehicle Service Contract
Vehicles are increasing in value. Now more than ever, it's important to make sure that you're protected both in and after a collision. Whether you or another party are at fault for an accident, your vehicle service contract (VSC) ensures that your ride is restored to factory standards in a timely manner.
What does a Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) do?
A VSC streamlines the repair process for your ride. Even if you’re the driver at fault for a collision, you’ll be able to have half of your deductible credited up to $1,000.* By signing a VSC, you also ensure that your vehicle is at the front of our appointment list, and that your needs are taken care of immediately.
*$1,000 limit applies only to drivers with over $5,000 in damages. Damages under $5,000 are eligible for up to a $500 deductible credit.
How a Vehicle Service Contract Works With Insurance
Many drivers assume insurance alone is enough after a collision, but insurance coverage and a Vehicle Service Contract serve different purposes. Insurance determines liability and pays for covered losses, while a VSC helps control how quickly repairs happen, what parts are used, and how much you pay out of pocket.
When you bring your vehicle to Young Collision Center, our team works directly with your insurance provider while applying your VSC benefits at the same time. This coordination helps reduce delays, eliminates confusion, and ensures repairs move forward without unnecessary back-and-forth. Instead of juggling multiple providers, you have one experienced team managing the process from start to finish.
Do I have a VSC?
Vehicle Service Contracts are available exclusively through Young Automotive Group dealerships. If you purchased a vehicle through one of our locations, there’s a chance you already bought this benefit with your finance manager. At Young Collision, we’ll be able to pull up your records and see if you’ve signed a VSC.
If you didn’t sign a VSC during your purchase, but would like to stay protected, visit a Young Automotive Group service department near you.
How do I use my VSC?
If you’ve been involved in an accident, call us to have your vehicle towed to one of our locations at no charge. Once there, we’ll check to see if you’ve signed a VSC. Our team will then place your vehicle at the front of our waitlist, and work with your insurance to credit the downpayment.
Bring it by - we take care of the rest.
Get Repaired to Factory Standards — Every Time
Other shops may cut corners with aftermarket parts. Not us. Your Young Collision Center VSC comes with a 100% OEM parts upgrade benefit and OEM certified technicians. That means we repair your vehicle using the same factory-original components it was built with — ensuring your car drives and protects like new.
Even though insurance doesn’t always require OEM parts, your VSC guarantees them and we service all your favorite brands.
Why Factory-Standard Repairs Matter After a Collision
Modern vehicles are engineered with precise tolerances, advanced safety systems, and integrated technology. After an accident, using factory-approved repair methods and OEM parts is critical to preserving performance, safety, and resale value.
A Young Collision Center VSC guarantees repairs performed to factory standards by OEM-certified technicians. This means your vehicle’s safety features, structural integrity, and driving systems are restored as intended. While some shops rely on aftermarket or recycled parts to cut costs, your VSC ensures your vehicle is repaired with the same quality components it was built with.

Skip the Line — VIP Repair Service
When you’re dealing with a damaged vehicle, the last thing you need is a long wait. Young VSC holders receive VIP repair access, meaning we place your vehicle at the front of our appointment list. No waiting weeks to get started. No fighting for attention.
Free Towing to Any Young Collision Center
Wherever you are in Layton or Ogden, Utah or Burley, Idaho, your VSC includes free towing to any of our certified collision centers. Fault doesn’t matter — we’ll get your vehicle where it needs to go, on us.
VSC Benefits for Busy Drivers and Families
Life doesn’t stop after an accident. Whether you’re commuting to work, managing family schedules, or traveling between Utah and Idaho, downtime can be costly. A Young VSC is designed to keep disruption to a minimum.
From free towing and VIP repair access to rental assistance coordination, your VSC helps you get back on the road faster. You don’t need to worry about who to call or what step comes next — our team handles it for you.
Save Money on Your Deductible - When You Need It Most
We know that high deductibles can delay repairs and cause financial stress. That’s why our VSC includes up to 50% off your deductible if you’re at fault:
Up to $500 off when repairs total under $5,000
Up to $1,000 off when repairs exceed $5,000
And if the accident wasn’t your fault? You won’t owe a deductible at all.
Only at Young Collision Center
Young is the only dealer with a collision center built into your VSC. That means no third-party headaches, no finger-pointing between providers — just one team, working for you from start to finish.
Whether you messed up — or someone messed you up — we’ve got you covered.
Common Questions About Using a VSC After an Accident
Many drivers don’t realize how easy it is to use their VSC. Once your vehicle arrives at a Young Collision Center, we verify coverage, apply eligible benefits, and explain exactly how your deductible credit and priority service will be used. There’s no guesswork, no complicated paperwork, and no pressure.
If you’re unsure whether you have a VSC, we can check your purchase records in minutes. If you don’t currently have one, a Young Automotive Group service department can help you explore options for future protection.
